- What is the notice period?
The notice period is 7 days. You can give notice by emailing a Self–Store Manager directly or emailing info@rentcontainer.com
- Where do I need to leave my keys when I am finished with my container?
You can leave the key and fob in the small box located near the exit of the site. Please call the office on 01283 537 382 to let us know you have returned the keys.
- What happens if my account falls into arrears?
If your account falls into arrears, we reserve the right to deny access to the site by disabling access to site and we will overlock the container with one of our padlocks. Please note that when the account is paid up to date it can take up to 7 working days for access to be reinstated and overlocks to be removed.
- If I lose my key or fob, how can I get a replacement?
The primary account holder will need to call our office on 01283 537 382 and we will organise a replacement key or fob, an additional cost will be charged. Our representative will then be in touch to meet you on site and please bring proof of identity.
- Who can I contact if I have an issue outside of office hours?
Please call the office on 01283 537 382 and this will be redirected to our representative on call.
- Can you accept deliveries on our behalf?
Our Self Store sites are not manned, we cannot accept deliveries for our customers. Rentcontainer accepts no loss or damage claims to any deliveries left on site.
- Would I be permitted to store my vehicle?
We do not permit the storage of motorcycles, quad bikes or jet skis.
- Can I use my own padlocks for additional security?
As stated under condition 16 in the hire agreement, any padlocks not supplied by Rentcontainer cannot be used to secure the hired container. If this condition is ignored, please be aware that Rentcontainer reserves the right to remove customer padlocks by force.
- What are the Site Rules?
All sites are non-smoking / non-vaping
All sites operate a zero tolerance of drugs
All sites operate a 5 MPH speed restriction
All sites do not allow dogs
No Vehicles are to be parked / left on site
No unsupervised children
Your selected container must only be used for its intended purpose Insulated Household / Non-Insulated Trade / Vehicle / Tools etc
